Its pleasantly sweetish smell and its mild flavour are rounded of by the lingering taste of vermouth. Kübler absinthe will unfold its unique flavour and show the characteristic clouding of the liquid when mixed with fresh water at the rate of 1:3 to 1:5.
It is produced using herbs which primarily come from Val de Travers – green anise, star-anise, fennel, melissa, hyssop, coriander and some more…but Kübler’s most important ingredient is Val de Travers’ excellent vermouth which people started growing again some 2 years ago. It is this vermouth which makes sure that the aroma of Kübler is today what it was before prohibition. 0,5 litres, 53% alcohol.
